All key functions associated with operating the Training & Fitness Center, including growth of business, member retention and recruitment, community outreach, staff supervision, care of facility and equipment, and retail operations. Additionally, the Manager ensures that the STFC supports and complements the Stratton vision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Full budgetary responsibilities, including but not limited to creating, following, and tracking the budget for the Fitness Center. Analysis of business patterns and sales daily, weekly, monthly. Create short- and long-term business plans annually that ensure retention and growth of Memberships. Oversee Homeowner Member relations, including retention, growth and management of services Ensure robust programming for members. Project Management Strategic Planning Hiring, training, scheduling, and retention of staff. Ensure highest level of Service Standards for staff at Fitness Center. Oversee overall maintenance of Fitness Center, inside and out, including equipment and general building up-keep as well as planning and follow-through of annual closures of certain areas for annual maintenance. Collaborate with Retail for purchasing and merchandising for the Retail shop. Order supplies and managing inventory. Involves working closely with maintenance personnel. Ensure payroll is accurate and timely and keep meticulous payroll record keeping. Attend meetings when necessary. Collaborate with multiple departments within Stratton to ensure a cohesive partnership. Act as a back up to the front desk staff and be able to work at the front desk when needed. With the evolution of this resort and position, the responsibilities of this position may change. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: High school degree required. College degree preferred. Experience: Experience working in a fitness center environment is desired. Experience with preparing budgets, P&L Statements required. Previous experience working in managerial/leadership role is required. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Experience creating budgets, P&L statements. Strong business acumen. Ability to follow through and complete tasks. Must be proficient with Word, Excel and email communication Excellent communication and customer service skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Office Environment: Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis. Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis. Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis. Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis. Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
