Job Description Position: Senior Mechatronics Engineer - C / PLC Location: Brattleboro, VT Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 + 20% Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation Job Description: The Senior Mechatronics Engineer is part of a team dedicated to advancing the company's machine technology. This position is principally responsible for the design and support of electromechanical and software solutions of ultraprecision machine systems for the electro-optics manufacturing industry. The Senior Mechatronics Engineer is expected to be a subject matter expert and mentor less senior engineers, providing technical direction to the electrical, mechanical and controls engineering team. The Senior Mechatronics Engineer will have the ability to define and resolve complex problems. Typical projects are a combination of new development, maintenance, and revision of existing applications. Responsibilities: Subject matter expert with thorough knowledge of the mechatronics engineering discipline. Provide technical subject matter direction to the entire engineering team. Solve complex electrical problems using accepted engineering practices. Ability to lead large products. Trouble shoot hydrostatics, pneumatics, PC based controllers, DC servo systems, PMAC or other logic controllers and other sophisticated electronic test equipment. Able to size rotary/linear motors and amplifiers. Conceptualize and engineer new, unique electromechanical and software systems that meet customer requirements. Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress. Actively participate in product design reviews and work directly with the engineering staff to develop cost effective solutions. Interface with engineers and technicians of the other business units to help coordinate overall technical activities wherever appropriate and desirable. Ensure that all relevant data is collected, reviewed, and filed for all projects in accordance with standard procedures. Prepare and present detailed technical reports to management and staff. Write/publish papers and present at relevant conferences when mutually agreed upon with management. Contribute to written instruction and operation manuals for products. Perform in-house technical support. Help to achieve the completion of all projects within budget and on schedule. Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical (or similar) Engineering with 7+ years of work experience, or a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of work experience. Demonstrated versatility and high competency levels in creativity and technical comprehension. Excellent understanding of C programming as it relates to PLCs. Advanced-level experience in mechatronics. Efficient and effective use of engineering tools such as CAD, Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) and associated workflows, and release processes. Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite. Competencies. Utilize strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners at various levels. Self-motivated technical leader who can motivate the entire development team. Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
