Brattleboro Community Based Outpatient Clinic medical director The White River Junction Vermont VA Hospital is actively seeking a board certified or board eligible Physician in Internal Medicine/PA/NP. The applicant will lead and join a team providing compassionate General Internal Medicine healthcare in Brattleboro Primary Care Outpatient Clinic. The panel of patients will include both male and female veterans with acute and chronic illnesses. The incumbent is also expected to participate in implementing/sustaining the VA Patient Centered Medical Home Model called Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). There is no on-call involved. The Incumbent will demonstrate proficiency in practice, planning, and self-direction in goal setting for managing each Veteran's medical need. Candidates must be board-certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with leadership experience and have administrative capabilities. . cope of practice will be within the Primary Care division of the General Medicine Service Line. The incumbent will demonstrate a high level of flexibility and commitment to meet the needs of a complex evolving patient care system and will advocate for quality patient care. Work Schedule: Hours are M-F, 8:00-4:30 Financial Disclosure Report: Not required Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Reference: VA Regulations, specifically VA Handbook 5005, Part II, Appendix G-2 Physician Qualification Standard. This can be found in the local Human Resources Office. Physical Requirements:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
