Progressive care unit - PCU RN - Travel Nurse
High Acuity PCU. Required Critical Care experience, IV proficiency, BLS, ACLS, and be proficient in dysrhythmia knowledge. CCRN, PALS and/or ENPC is a plus. Unit description:
The PCU is a combined Med-Surg/ICU, acuity adjustable unit. This nurse would be responsible for providing assessment, planning, monitoring, and intervention for a patient population which includes seriously or critically ill cardiac, medical and surgical patients of various ages, as well as intermediate PCU level of care depending on the census. Providing care for non ICU level pediatric population age greater than 5 years old is a possibility. The nurse also provides Level 1 Post Anesthesia Care for surgical patients during hours when the PACU is not operational
