Windham Regional Career Center Culinary Arts Para educator Position Job DescriptionThe Para educator for Cooking and Related Culinary Arts is responsible for assisting the program instructor in the delivery of instruction, reinforcement of instruction and the remediation of students in the area of responsibility.
The Para educator may be assigned to one classroom or to a variety of assignments depending on the needs of students.
Para educators report to the assigned classroom instructor.
The Para educator will be responsible in assisting in the operations of the Hideaway Restaurant lunch and catering services.
Job Details This position will be 35 hours per week.
Candidate must have mechanical skills in the areas of:
Inspiring excellence and preparing students for social responsibility, employment, and postsecondary education in order to effectively meet our mission with enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
Candidate should possess fundamental computer skills including email capability, word documents, and basic internet searches.
Assist the career education instructor in maintaining a safe, clean and professional work environment.
Willingness to perform other duties as requested by Director.

This paraprofessional position terms, salary and benefits are governed by the negotiated support staff collective bargaining agreement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
