JOB SUMMARY: To provide counsel and support to patients suffering from drug or alcohol dependency and to educate families in the best ways to help in the recovery process. Works with both inpatient clients and those participating in outpatient programs. Provides direct care and service to patients through assessment, educational and therapeutic groups, individual counseling, family meetings, family counseling treatment planning and continuing care planning.NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:May be required to perform duties of lesser, equal or greater responsibility. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Preferably certified CAC/CDC or CADC in the State ofVermont. If not certified,must be eligible forVermontcertification within 1 year of hire.2. If certified, must hold at minimum a Bachelors degree in Behavioral Health field.3. If not certified, must hold a Master s degree in Behavioral Health field.4. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
