Summary:1)Works with the Clinical Manager to provide quality nursing care to assigned patient group and participates in managing the operations of the clinical unit;Covers for Clinical Manager in their absence.2) Provides house-wide and area/unit specific clinical education, working in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Education; 3) Provides relief Nursing Supervisor coverage on a regular basis.
Days of work and hours for this position include a varied schedule to meet the needs of all job functions and will include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
NON-ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
May be required to perform duties of lesser, equal or greater responsibility.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Licensed Registered Nurse in the state ofVermont,
Bachelor s Degree or Master s Degree preferred but applicable experienced and education can be substituted.
Minimum three years experience in psychiatric nursing, and/or management or equivalent experience.
Certification through the ANA preferred.
Experience with progressive management responsibilities.
Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
