Will train on power equipment, including pallet jack certification
Position Summary
Loads, unloads, and moves materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse
facility.
Inspect all equipment and dock doors within assigned areas and make certain the
proper trailer is located at the loading dock
Load each truck ensuring zero product damage and in reverse order of deliveries
Secure loads with straps, tie downs, or other means to ensure safe transport of
product
Assist in unloading incoming trucks
Complete all paperwork pertaining to the load and locate at the tail of the truck
Report any discrepancies or mis-loads to dock/warehouse supervisor
Clean work area prior to end of shift including loose pallets or cases, straps bars,
and equipment off of the floor
Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Constant-
standing, walking, driving, seeing, carrying, lifting of objects weighing from lessthan 20 lbs. to 60 lbs.
Frequent-
hearing, reaching, twisting, carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling and gripping ofobjects over 60 lbs.
Occasional-
sitting, bending, handling paperwork, feeling, stooping, balancing and climbing
Description of Work Environment
Temperature of a Freezer warehouse can range from -20 to -10 Fahrenheit. Steel toed shoes are required.
