Summary:
Provides clerical and administrative support to staff in
the marketing and communications department. Provides administrative support to
the continuing education program and development office as needed.Participates in Departmental/Organizational Strategic
Plan and Operating Plan implementation and PI/Customer Service Efforts.
NON-ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
May be required to perform duties of lesser, equal or greater responsibility.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelors degree or equivalent required. Prefer communications, marketing or related field.
2.A minimum of 2 years experience in a comparable setting preferred.
3.Microsoft Office applications experience required. Spreadsheet and database management experience required. Must be comfortable with computer and web applications.
4.Well organized, attention to detail with an ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
5.Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6.Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy skills and ability to resolve conflict.
7.Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the department, other departments and external constituents.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
