Medical Laboratory Technician with Additional Microbiology Duties

Performs various qualitative, quantitative clinical laboratory testing and quality control in all sections of the laboratory as a Generalist Tech. Also possesses and utilizes microbiology skills, training, and indepth knowledge of procedures, principles, techniques and the operation of various microbiology instrumentation in order to accurately set up, perform a variety of routine, difficult, and complex microbiology procedures to identify bacterial Must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. Associate''s degree in Medical Technology or related science and an ASCP, NCA, or equivalent certification required. Will also consider an MT with a Bachelor''s degree. Recent experience in microbiology preferred. Laboratory computer knowledge and skills preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
