Job Details: Performs supervisory and billing duties in directing and coordinating the activities of the Billing Department Staff. Responsible for timely and accurate submission of all insurance claims within an assigned category in accordance with third party requirements. Maintains system of regular follow-up to resolve processing problems and expedite payment. Uses customer service approach in handling patient inquiries promptly and courteously. Works with other departments to research and obtain missing information necessary for a complete and correct claim. A.S. in Business or Accounting, or equivalent experience required. Two years supervisory experience in a healthcare business office environment required. Familiarity with automated business systems desirable. Excellent communication skills and customer service experience required. Licensure/Certification: None.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
