Job Details:
Coordinates a systematic process of risk identification, prevention and reduction to promote patient safety, reduce risk and mitigate potential loss to the hospital.Works with the Director of Patient Experience to resolve patient complaints and protect patient rights and with the Director of Quality to insure compliance with State and Federal regulatory standards including CMS preparedness for the hospital.Knowledge of State and Federal statutes including CMS and HIPAA regulations, healthcare law and/ or healthcare administration.Familiar with hospital operations, CMS preparation and in developing, evaluating managing Process Improvement Initiatives. Ability to interface with physicians, patients and all levels of hospital personnel data analysis; public speaking; adult education; familiarity with management of information systems and computer skills. Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis and knowledge of Patient / Employee Safety and Risk Management concepts and strategies also desirable. Reports to the Director of Quality.Bachelor s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field.RNis a plus but is not required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
