Summary:The Outpatient Care Coordinator and Registrarreports to the Central Intake Practice Manager.Responsibilities include:scheduling clients for outpatient intakes and ongoing services, maintaining quality customer service, outpatient registration, benefit verification, establishing and maintaining service authorization. Acts as liaison with patient accounts to ensure accuracy of patient fiscal information.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1.Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.
2.Excellent verbal communication skills.
3.Able to focus and complete tasks in busy environment - i.e., multi-task.
4.Strong computer in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.
5.Working knowledge of managed care systems and insurance providers.
6. Familiar with hospital and/or outpatient registration technology and procedures, including knowledge
of appropriate CPT codes for billing and scheduling.
7. Typing speed of 40-50 WPM required.

Qualifications:
High school diploma required, Associate degree in business preferred.
A minimum of three years secretarial/administrative experience in a comparable setting.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
