Acts as liaison with patient accounts to ensure accuracy of patient fiscal information.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:May be required to perform duties of lesser, equal or greater responsibility.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:1.Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette.2.Excellent verbal communication skills.3.Able to focus and complete tasks in busy environment - i.e., multi-task.4.Strong computer in Microsoft Office Suite and database management.5.Working knowledge of managed care systems and insurance providers.6. Familiar with hospital and/or outpatient registration technology and procedures, including knowledgeof appropriate CPT codes for billing and scheduling.7. Typing speed of 40-50 WPM required.appearance.QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma required, Associate degree in business preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
