We are looking for MRI Technologists (MRI Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Brattleboro, VT.
The right MRI Tech should have 1 year of experience.

As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for the use of magnetic resonance imaging and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.
MRI Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing MRI imaging.
TasksAs an MRI Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as requiredScreen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performanceCorrectly interpret doctors' written instructionsPosition patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment to comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staffAssist radiologist with procedure performanceStart I.

s, administer contrast media as directed and per protocolEvaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriatelyLoad and operate power injectors for contrast media administrationFollow safety procedures when working with radiationMaintain accurate patient recordsUnderstand and use the McKesson PACS systemRequirementsMust have 1 year of experience.
Must have BLS, AART National certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging, and state-specific licensing when required.
MRI Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
MRI Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
Requirements :
BLS, ARRT (MR), 2 Years Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
