Your Role As Shipping Coordinator, your core responsibility will involve facilitating the final leg of the customer's journey with VTPF:
receiving final payment, and organizing and scheduling shipping and delivery.
This includes proactive customer communications and robust internal organization and tracking.
Additionally, you will be responsible for raw material shipments from suppliers and 3rd party partners.
We use a variety of private and common carrier shippers, and you will serve as their sole point of contact.
Qualifications Organized and thorough Obsessive attention to detail Even-keeled and calm under pressure Fluid - able to adapt to course changes and work around unexpected obstacles Excellent written and verbal communication - service-oriented & personable! Technically savvy - fluent in spreadsheets, quick to learn new online tools and platforms (we use Google Apps Suite, HubSpot CRM, and Quickbooks Online).
Team player.
The service aspect of this position is in a supporting capacity for our sales team, and you will work closely with each rep.
Fast learner.
We don't need you to come into this role with existing industry knowledge or experience with our tools, but we will expect you to work diligently to rapidly absorb and learn.
