Process Engineer

Actively seeking a Process Engineer in the Brattleboro, VT area.
This is a full time position offering a starting wage of $70,000 - $90,000/year.
Duties:
Actively support and promote safe work practices through the mill.
Lead and participate in projects for implementation and continuous improvement of processes and products for cost reduction opportunities.
Provide leadership and guidance to hourly employees while promoting employee involvement and participation in problem solving and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and the collective agreement, and implement appropriate measures as required.
Develop and train employees.
Assist in evaluating process improvements and develop vendor recommendations.
Interact with customer and vendors, both internal and external Research and report on business related activity as needed.
Assist with coordinating machine outages.
Requirements:
A 4-year degree in chemical engineering, Pulp and Paper Science or other Engineering discipline is required from an accredited college/university Pulp and Paper:
1 year (Preferred) Chemical engineering:
1 year (Preferred) Production Engineering:
3 years (Preferred) Continuous improvement:
1 year (Preferred) Paper making/manufacturing:
